Polish presence at Singapore Fintech Festival 2022

This year’s Singapore Fintech Festival (SFF), one of the largest economic events in Singapore dedicated to the financial sector, was held under the slogan of "building resilient business models in a world of change".
The event, taking place between 2 and 4 November 2022, was organized by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and attracted participants from over 110 countries. 450 exhibitors, 25 national pavilions and 850 speakers attended accompanying conferences.
Poland’s administration was represented by Mr Zbigniew Wiliński, Director of the Financial Innovation Department of the Polish Financial Supervision Authority. Director Wiliński spoke at the SFF panel discussion entitled "Are financial institutions ready for ESG regulations?".
Mr. Jan Ziomek, the division head at the Financial Innovation Department of Fintech KNF presented Poland’s position at “The role of big data in the fintech industry" event organized by the European Chamber of Commerce in Singapore.
Traditionally, a Demo Day Global FinTech Hackcelerator was organized during SFF, with the participation of a Polish company registered in Switzerland, Aleph Zero and the Lithuanian start-up Blockbank. Both had won the European leg of the global competition, so-called European Hackelerator. It was for the third time in a row that the European Hackelerator was - at the request of the Singaporean central bank and the market regulator MAS - organized by Polish accelerator Accelpoint, supported by Polish Investment and Trade Agency.
Among individual exhibitors, Polish company Tricks presented online solutions that improve process efficiency and support employees’ effectiveness in large organizational structures (banks, insurance companies, etc.).
