Science Polish Perspectives Meetup: Singapore – the first in Asia

Polish scientists working in Singapore, their Singaporean colleagues and international experts gathered for the inaugural Science Polish Perspectives Meetup: Singapore
H. E. Magdalena Bogdziewicz, Ambassador of Poland to Singapore opened the event which was organised on 15 December by Polonium Foundation in partnership with the Embassy of Poland in Singapore and hosted at Create Tower by Singapore-ETH Centre. In her remarks she highlighted Poland’s strengths as a partner in science and R&D as well as cooperation opportunities existing also in the framework of European platforms such as Horizon Europe.
Other speakers included:, Dr Jasmine Lau, Associate Director Singapore-ETH Centre, Dr Grzegorz Lisak, Associate Professor, School of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Resource Recovery Programme Director, Nanyang Environment and Water Research Institute, NTU and Dr Agata Blasiak, Head of Digital Health Innovation at N.1 and WisDM, NUS.
The first Science Polish Perspectives Meetup held in Asia created an excellent opportunity to share insights on research and development landscape in Singapore, learn more about innovative research project carried out in Singapore by Polish researchers and, of course, get to know each other. The discussions continued during the lively networking session.
