ABW detained more agents of the Galleri New Form

The officers of the Internal Security Agency detained in Gdańsk and its vicinity another two people who were involved in helping Joanna S. and her son Mikael S. - organizers of fictitious large-scale trade in works of art.
Detained at the end of October, Marcin K. and Agnieszka Ch.-B. worked as agents of Joanna S. Their duties included the search and acquisition of investors and acting as intermediary in concluding sale agreements with them. The detainees then sent the signed contracts back to the company's headquarters in Sweden. The fraudulent venture consisted in acquiring - under the guise of the so-called "Art investment "- from entities and natural persons, funds for a specified period of time with a predetermined interest rate. Thanks to their activities, both detainees achieved a financial benefit of a total of approximately PLN 6 million. The prosecutor supervising the investigation applied preventive measures in the form of bail and police supervision.
Moreover, in the above case, charges were heard by two other associates of Joanna S. - Franciszek Ż. and Cezary Cz. Their mechanism of action was analogous to that of other agents. The men involved in the criminal procedure enriched themselves by over half a million zlotys each.
The investigation is conducted by officers of the Delegation of the Internal Security Agency in Białystok under the supervision of the Białystok Regional Prosecutor's Office. So far, charges have been brought against 24 people.
