Galleri New Form agent detained

On 1 June 2022 the Internal Security Agency officers detained in Gdynia Konrad W., a man who acted in concert with Joanna S. and her son Mikael S. – organizers of a fictitious trading in works of arts on a large scale.

In the course of investigation the officers found out that Konrad W., cooperating with Joanna S., collected money from individuals putting them at risk as he offered his clients financial products in the form of investment in works of art. Konrad W. was actively searching for investors, he also served as intermediary when clients concluded sales contracts. Then he was sending signed contracts to the company’s head office in Sweden. As he acted as an agent of Joanna S., fraudulent money constituted his fixed source of income. Thanks to commissions charged, he received a financial benefit amounted to 18.5 million PLN.

Konrad W. heard charges of conducting banking activity without authorization. So far, in the course of investigation 12 persons have been detained altogether.
