Poland’s minister-coordinator for special services met with the DNI

On Nov. 17th, 2022, Poland’s Minister-Coordinator of Intelligence and Security Services Mariusz Kamiński held a meeting in Warsaw with the U.S. Director of National Intelligence Avril Haines.

The two top intelligence officials discussed the issues pertaining to the security situation stemming from the Russian aggression in Ukraine. They also touched upon the current challenges and threats on the international arena, with special focus on those on the Eastern Flank of NATO. During the meeting, the importance of very close allied relations for ensuring the security in Europe and worldwide was highlighted.

On her visit to Warsaw Director Haines also had a series of meetings with the representatives of the Polish intelligence and security services to discuss the U.S.-Polish cooperation in those areas.

It was yet another visit of Director Haines to Poland, which only testifies to a special character of cooperation with the U.S. partners for the sake of building a rock-solid security in the region.
