Opening of the TACK TECH mentoring program for UA at the Polish Embassy in Stockholm

Launch of TACK TECH mentoring program

On the initiative of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland and Polish scientists, innovators and startup creators affiliated with the Waza Association in Sweden, a mentoring program has been launched for Ukrainian scientists in the IT sector who came to Sweden after 24 .02 as war refugees. Polish innovators affiliated with the WAZA Association, established the TACK TECH Association, which will provide support to young Ukrainian innovators and scientists in establishing contacts with innovative sectors in Sweden.

On 29/09/2022 at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Stockholm, Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Sweden, Joanna Hofman and the Ambassador of Ukraine to Sweden, Andrii Plakhotniuk officially launched the TACK TECH mentoring program for Ukrainian members of the high-tech community in Sweden. Tack Tech Ukraina is an apolitical association designed to assist in arriving members of the Ukrainian Tech Community in Sweden. The project's structure has been based on Waza.nu, a network for Polish innovators and entrepreneurs in Sweden. Ambassador of the Republic of Poland to Sweden, J.Hofman, and Ambassador of the AU to Sweden, A. Plakhotniuk, in their speeches, stressed the importance of the assistance project for war refugees of the Ukrainian technology community in gaining knowledge about the functioning of innovation sectors in SE, expanding knowledge about the operation of the IT and high tech ecosystem in Sweden. Ambassador of the Republic of Poland, J.Hofman emphasized in her speech that Poland not only provides assistance to Ukrainians in Poland and Ukraine, but also in Sweden we want to help Ukrainians in the high tech sector to gain experience, which they will use in rebuilding modern Ukraine after the end of the war.   For more information on the initiative, visit www: https://tacktech.se/mentorship-program.html.

Participants of the event got acquainted with the exhibition "Mom, I don't want war" presented on the fence of the Polish Embassy in Stockholm.
