State secretary of Infrastructure – Rafał Weber participated in Global Road Safety 2020 conference

The conference organized in Stockholm (19-20.02.2020) concerned of the UN global plan for traffic safety between 2011 and 2020, which aimed for defining strategic goals as well as the most effective ways of saving human lives on roads.

During the conference the head of Polish delegation – Mr. Rafał Weber met with Mr. Thomas Eneroth – Swedish Minister of Infrastructure, Mr. Akaki Saghirashvili – Vice-minister of Sustainable Development of Georgia,  Baroness Charlotte Vere - Parliamentary Under Secretary of State in the Department of Transport of Great Britain, Ms. Cora van Nieuwenhuizen – Minister of Infrastructure and Water Economy of Netherlands and Mr. Matthew Baldwin – Vice-president of European Commission Directorate-General for Mobility, European Road Safety Coordinator. The conference ended with adoption of Stockholm Declaration on Traffic Safety, which is valid until 2030.
