Minister of Funds and Regional Policy with visit on World Urban Forum 2020 in Abu Dhabi

MInister Małgorzata Jarosińska - Jedynak visited Abu Dhabi to attend 10th World Urban Forum 2020. WUF conferences are the world’s largest biannual event organised under the auspices of the UN to promote and review urban development policies.
The Tenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF 10) is held from 8-13 February 2020 in Abu Dhabi. This is the first time when an Arab country hosts the world’s most important conference on cities and human settlements. Next conference, the 11th sesion of WUF will be held in 2022 in Poland, Katowice under the auspices of the UN, following the COP 24 climate summit.
Minister Małgorzata Jarosińska - Jedynak, Ambassador of POland to the UAE, Mr. Robert Rostek and high-level government delegation visited Masdar City on the sidelines of the WUF, where they learned more about Masdar’s strategic platforms and Clean Energy portfolio. During their visits, the delegation met with CFO of Masdar, Mr. Niall Hannigan to discussed a range of topics, including climate action and finance, the potential of youth in addressing sustainability challenges, and infrastructure and cities.
