Different decision
If the foreigner withdraws his or her application or another Member State is responsible for its examination and the international protection proceeding is discontinued because of the above mentioned reasons, the assistance in voluntary return or assistance in the transfer to the country responsible for the case may be guaranteed to the foreigner.
An application for granting such assistance should be lodged within 30 days from the day the decision to discontinue the proceeding becomes final. In case the foreigner does not meet this deadline, the Head of the Office for Foreigners leaves the application without further actions being taken. The voluntary return of the foreigner or his transfer is organized by the Head of the Office.
