Rules on the receipt of a travel document deposited during the procedure for granting international protection:
After obtaining the decision that concludes the procedure for granting international protection, the foreigner shall collect his/her passport in person.
If it is impossible to collect the travel document in person due to illness, disability or other insurmountable obstacle, the passport may be collected by a proxy who has a special power of attorney prepared and signed by a notary to collect the document and a document certifying the impossibility of travelling to collect the document in person. If the documents are written in a language other than Polish, they must be translated by a sworn translator.
Passports can be collected at the Office for Foreigners at Taborowa Street 33 in Warsaw, from Monday to Friday at 09:00 – 14:00.
Collection takes place at counter 4, after you have completed the application form.
It is not necessary to make an appointment in advance to collect your travel document.
