How to apply for help

The organization of voluntary returns is handled by the Commander-in-Chief of the Border Guard.

If you have received a decision about:

  • on the discontinuation of the proceedings or
  • on refusal to grant refugee status and refusal to grant subsidiary protection

and you benefit from social assistance and medical care provided by the Head of the Office, submit an application for assistance in voluntary return through the Head of the Office for Foreigners. Send the signed application to the address of the Department of Social Assistance of the Office for Foreigners (by post or via the official e-PUAP box) or submit it in person to the center for foreigners applying for international protection or to the Office's Submission Office at ul. Taborowa 33 in Warsaw, during opening hours.

In other cases, an application for assistance in voluntary return should be submitted to the commanding officer of the Border Guard unit or the commanding officer of the Border Guard facility competent for your place of residence.
