The event served as an expression of friendship, support, and solidarity among NATO's member states and a reminder of the shared commitment to peace, security, and the principles underpinning the strategic alliance.

In his opening remarks, Ambassador Piotr Wilczek highlighted the crucial position of NATO in regional and international security. "In these turbulent times, particularly amid the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, our NATO membership has never been more critical. It ensures we are not alone, standing strong within a formidable alliance of countries committed to mutual defence and shared values. The current global landscape underscores the importance of our collective resilience and unity." - he said. MP Kowal’s speech emphasised the unique momentum behind both the Treaty and Ukraine, advocating for the inclusion of the latter in both NATO and the EU for the benefit of global and regional security.

The guests included ambassadors as well as diplomats, representatives of British government, and military attaches of fellow member states.

All the invitees had an opportunity to chat and network, reminiscing about the momentous time of Poland's accession into the Organisation and discussing NATO's outlook on current affairs.
