48 Bal Polski – Annual Fundraising Gala Ball

His Royal Highness, the Duke of Kent and His Excellency, Professor Arkady Rzegocki, Ambassador of the Polish Republic in London, became honorary patrons of 48th Bal Polski, which took place in Hilton Hotel, Park Lane on 1st February 2020.
Participants of this year’s Ball edition gathered together to celebrate the centerary of victorious 1920 Battle of Warsaw and to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Lady Ryder of Warsaw’s death.
Her Excellency, Ambassador of the Polish Republic in Rome, Anna Maria Anders, the daughter of general Władysław Anders participated in the Ball as a special guest.
The proceeds from this year's event will aid the Oncology Department of the Starachowice Hospital as well as the Lady Ryder of Warsaw Memorial Trust.
The guests of the Ball were entertained by Żywiec Polish Folk Song and Dance Group, The London Swing and Soul Band, Olga Barej, Monika Łopuszyńska and Izabela Kopeć. Karolina Szostak was the hostess of the event. DJ Waldemar Rudnik assured a quality choice of music and the event will be photographed by Dr Ryszard Szydło.
Bal Polski, previously known as Bal Emigracji, has been taking place in London since 1970. It is a glittering, prestigious, social and cultural event, aiming at integrating the Polish diaspora and raising funds for charitable causes.
