Independence Day celebration at Embassy

On the day of the 101st anniversary of Poland regaining independence, the Polish Embassy in London hosted an Independence Day celebration for the representatives of the Polish diaspora in the UK.
During the ceremony, more than 200 guests sang together Poland’s national anthem, while Polska Scena.UK presented its repertoire of the most beautiful patriotic songs.
As part of the ceremony, Eugeniusz Niedzielski, who fought in Gen Stanisław Maczek’s Polish 1st Armoured Division, was awarded the rank of lieutenant.
