Tender Notice – Sale of a tangible asset
The subject of the tender
The passenger car – Ford Galaxy Titanium, diplomatic number plates, diesel engine cylinder capacity 1997, automatic transmission, production year - 2014, 5 doors, 7 seats, mileage – 93,000 miles, color: grey, upholstery: UK traffic standard, VIN number: WF0MXXGBWMEG19887.
Additional accessories: immobilizer, GPS navigation, radio with CD player, air conditioning, electric windows, ABS.
The opening selling price is 4 800 GBP
Any bidder willing to participate in the tender is required to pay a bid bond in amount of 480 GBP. The bid bond shall be paid in cash at the cash desk of the Embassy in London, W1B 1JH any working day from 10 am to 2 pm until 9:00am on 29th of March 2023.
The bid bond transferred by the bidders whose offers where not selected or were disregarded will be returned within 7 days upon the selection or disregard, respectively.
The bid bond transferred by the buyer shall be considered as and counted towards the payment of the final price.
The bid bond shall not be returned in the event the bidder who has won the tender refuses to conclude the sales agreement.
Prior to submitting an offer a party interested in purchasing the vehicle may inspect both the car and relevant documents at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, 47 Portland Place, London W1B 1JH, UK.
Days of inspection – 27-28 of March 2023, 9am – 2:30pm.

A written bidding offer should be submitted to the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London in sealed envelope no later than 29th of March 2023 by 10.00am.
The correspondence should be marked “Ford Galaxy”
The formal opening of the offers will take place on 29th of March 2023 at 11:00am at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London, 47 Portland Place W1B 1JH London, UK.
Requirements for submitted bid offers
A bid offer ought to include:
- Full name and place of residence of the bidder or company details, mobile telephone number, e-mail address;
- Offered price – not lower than the opening selling price, payments terms and conditions;
- Bidder’s statement either that he has knowledge of the legal and actual state of the vehicle and has no reservations or claims, or that is aware of the consequences of resigning from the vehicle inspection;
- Bidder’s declaration of covering all the costs related to change for non-diplomatic registration (VAT, registration fee, road tax) –in case of non-diplomatic bidders;
- Bid bond payment proof (cashier’s bill).
A bid offer with documents specified in 1) - 5) above ought to be submitted in sealed envelope to the address:

The tender committee shall disregard any offers which
- either have been submitted after the specified deadline or are incomplete or have been submitted by a bidder who had not secured the bid bond;
- do not contain expected information and documents specified in 1) - 5) above.
A bidder of rejected offer will be informed immediately.
A individual person who is participating in the tender is obliged to have valid identity card or passport. In addition, a representative of a legal entity is also obliged to present an appropriate power of attorney and an actual excerpt from the companies house (any copies of original excerpts must be certified as true copies of the originals).
The tender committee will choose the highest offer for a tangible asset. In case of obtaining two or more equal highest offers, the tender will be continued by auction among the bidders who submitted equal highest offers. The tender committee will immediately inform the bidders who submitted equal highest offers about the date and place of auction.
The sale agreement shall be concluded within no more than 7 days from termination of the tender procedure. The final payment date of the bidding price reduced by the bid bond within no more than 7 days from the conclusion of the sale agreement. The vehicle will be released immediately after the final payment.
In addition to paying the declared price, the buyer is also required to pay all costs related to the re-registration of the purchased vehicle, including taxes, excise duty, registration costs, technical inspections and any other costs required by local law.
All the costs, fees and taxes are responsibility of buyer of the car.
Embassy of the Republic of Poland in London has right to terminate tender procedure at any time without specifying reasons.
