Attention!

In regards to the notifications with phone calls about people claiming to be employees of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, we appeal for awareness and extreme caution. Scammers, thanks to the so-called „spoofers” (spoofing a telephone number) are calling from the telephone number of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Washington, D.C., and are trying to extort money, e.g, insisting on the need to pay a visa fee.

Please be advised that employees of our embassies and consulates do NOT contact individuals over the phone in regards to paying any fees or selling any products, unless we have not registered the consular case ourselves and we are not in the process of dealing with it.
