Poland-U.S. Strategic Dialogue on Energy

On February 26th in Washington, the Polish Government's Plenipotentiary for Strategic Energy Infrastructure Piotr Naimski and the Minister of Climate Michał Kurtyka took part in the third U.S.-Poland Strategic Dialogue on Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy under the leadership of the U.S. Secretary of Energy Dan Brouillette.

Fannon

The bilateral talks focused primarily on cooperation regarding nuclear energy, natural gas, cybersecurity and clean coal technologies.

The ministers also met with representatives of the State Department, including U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Francis R. Fannon, and held several meetings in the Senate (among others with Senators J. Manchin, K. Cramer and J. Barrasso) and the House of Representatives (among others with Congressmen A. Kinzinger, B. Johnson and M. Doyle). During their stay in Washington, the ministers also met with companies associated with the Polish-American Business Council.

Polish Ambassador to the United States Piotr Wilczek and U.S. Ambassador to Poland Georgette Mosbacher also participated in the discussions.
