CDA of Poland visited Jamaica on October 16-19, 2023.

Chargé d'affaires a.i. Mr. Michal Farys met with the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Trade Ms. Sheila Sealy Monteith. The aim was to discuss the priority areas of cooperation between Poland and Jamaica. Mr. Farys pointed out Poland's interest in intensifying contacts with member countries of the Association of Caribbean States.

The CDA took part in the inauguration of the first European Film Festival, where Poland presented the documentary "Godspeed Los Polacos".

The visit to Jamaica included meetings with the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Poland in Kingston, Ms. Irena Cousins, and talks with Poles that live on the island.
