Obtaining CE markingCE marking is the producer’s declaration that a given product placed on the market meets the essential requirements, which are most often specified in applicable regulations to the Act of 30 August 2002 on the conformity assessment system (Journal of Laws of 2004 No. 204 item 2087 and of 2005 No. 64 item 565). Unfair commercial practicesUnder the Act on counteracting unfair commercial practices, the use of such practices is prohibited. According to a definition in the Act, a trader-to-consumer commercial practice is unfair if it is contrary to good practices and materially distorts or may distort the market behaviour of an average consumer before, during or after the product-related transaction.
