Celebrations of the Independence Day of Poland

On the occasion of Independence Day, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana organized a reception. 106th anniversary of regaining independence was an excellent opportunity to remind the wide public of the ground-breaking historical events that led Poland to regain Independence in 1918 and to emphasize the importance of this celebrations for Poles.

The reception was attended by around 100 people representing the diplomatic corps accredited in the Republic of Albania, government administration, partner institutions and organizations collaborating with the embassy, graduates of Polish universities, journalists, representatives of the clergy, but also a wide group of Poles who have decided in recent years to live in Albania. The music during the reception was provided by a local string quartet.
