On June 9, 2024, the grand finale of the 15th International Competition "Tirana Talent" took place. The patron and sponsor of the awards of the 15th Edition of the Competition was again the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana.

On 2nd of June 2024, the grand finale of the 27th International Piano Festival EPTA "The Young Pianist" took place. The patron and sponsor of the awards of the 27th edition of the festival was the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana.

The Consul of the Republic of Poland in Tirana kindly informs that as of June 1, 2024, there is a change in the fee for accepting and processing an application for a national visa (type D) and for accepting and processing an application for reconsideration of a national visa.

The inaugural "Picnic of Poles and Friends of Poland" took place on 11th of May 2024, in the gardens of the Embassy of Poland in Tirana, celebrating Polish Flag Day and the Day of Poles Abroad. The event gathered Poles residing in Albania and a group of Albanian graduates from Polish universities.

On May 4th, the Delegation of the European Union to Albania commenced the "Europe Week 2024" in its customary fashion, aligning with the theme "EU for Inclusiveness, Diversity, and Human Rights." The event unfolded across Shkodra in the north, Gjirokastra in the south, and culminated in the capital, Tirana. A diverse array of activities filled the week, featuring film screenings, concerts, an "EU fair," panel discussions, youth workshops, debates, and even a spirited football match, held from May 4th to May 11th. Notably, this year's "Europe Week" coincided with the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the European Union's enlargement, which welcomed ten new member countries, including Poland.

In the framework of the 20th anniversary of the membership of the Visegrad Group countries in the European Union, on 2nd of May 2024, in the Concert Hall of the Albanian Radio and Television, the Embassies of Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary staged a unique V4 Gala Concert.

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Poland's accession to the European Union, in the framework of the Europe Week 2024 in Albania - EU for Inclusiveness, Diversity and Human Rights, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana organizes the movie screening of “Backwards” directed by Jacek Lusiński.

We would like to inform you that the performance of consular functions in the territory of the Republic of Kosovo has been entrusted to the Consul of the Republic of Poland in Skopje.

The Western Balkans Fund and Visegrad Fund are launching the joint Fellowship Program.

The international "Ambassador of Polish History" award is an honorary distinction established by the IPN's President. It is granted to individuals and organizations in recognition of their outstanding contribution to commemorating the history of the Polish Nation and supporting the IPN in its statutory activities in the field of research and education. The "Ambassador of Polish History" is a continuation of the "Witness to History" award for non-Polish individuals and organizations, which was granted from 2015–2022.
