Poland in Albania

Thirty people representing ten countries are took part in the "Remembrance, Understanding, Future” seminar in Lower Silesia. It is a joint initiative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland, the Federal Foreign Office of the Federal Republic of Germany, and the "Krzyżowa” Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe. From Albania two participants took part in the seminar.

On the 78th anniversary of the death of Prof. Stanisław Zuber, an outstanding Polish geologist, distinguished researcher, and discoverer of Albania's natural resources, Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Poland Wojciech Unolt laid a wreath at the plaque commemorating him.

The Entry/Exit System (EES) is Europe's new border management system for registering non-EU nationals travelling for a short stay, each time they cross the external borders of 29 European countries.

On September 30, 2025, a meeting with Albanian graduates of Polish universities was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana.

Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Wojciech Unolt, gave an interview to the Albanian Radio and Television RTSH.

On 28th of August 2025 took place the inauguration of a sports and recreational facility for children and youth from rural areas of the parish in Bilaj near Tirana. The project was implemented with funds obtained under the Polish Aid program.

On 26 June 2025, at the initiative of Chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland, Mr. Wojciech Unolt, a working breakfast was held with the participation of the Minister of Europe and Foreign Affairs of Albania, Igli Hasani, and the Ambassadors of the European Union Member States accredited in Albania. The meeting was of a summary nature and took place in connection with the end of the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

On June 13, a roundtable conference entitled "Albania's Journey to the EU: Lessons Learned from Polish Experience - Managing economic transition through effective utilization of EU funds" was held in Tirana. The event was co-organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana and research and consulting institutions: Impact Assessment Institute (IAI) and Creative Business Solutions (CBS). The special guest of the Embassy and the main speaker was Prof. Marek Belka.

The 12th edition of the "DEA Open Air International Film Festival" featured a screening of the Polish film "Intersection", which gathered an exceptional audience and was warmly received.

On June 8, 2025, the grand finale of the 16th International Competition "Tirana Talent" took place. The patron and sponsor of the awards of the 16th Edition of the Competition was again the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Tirana.
