Humanitarian aid for Armenia

Poland reaffirms its solidarity with Armenia and its readiness to assist in the crisis caused by the COVID-19. The fight against coronavirus has become one of the most important missions on the EU foreign policy agenda. Therefore, Poland has committed itself to supporting the EaP member states.
In this context on June 19, 2020 C-295M military cargo plane landed at Zvartnots Airport transporting medical supplies to Armenia.
David Altunyan, Director of the Republican Center for Humanitarian Aid of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Armenia, received the assistance provided by the Republic of Poland. Representatives of Armenian Government and members of the Polish Embassy, in particular Ambassador Paweł Cieplak, RA Deputy Foreign Minister Avet Adonts, RA First Deputy Minister of Health Anahit Avanesyan and others were present at the handover of the cargo. Solidarity Fund PL is the official donor of humanitarian assistance. The Embassy of Poland in Armenia got actively engaged in coordination activities.
