Improving the conditions of probation service facilities in Armenia the reopening ceremony

The reopening ceremony of the project was held on September 22 at the State Probation Service’s Abovyan and Ashtarak offices.

 “Eurasia” CPO in support with the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Armenia, has implemented a renovation and reconstruction project financed within the framework of Polish development cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland.
On the basis of the Project, The State Probation Service’s regional offices have been capitally renovated, rehabilitation program spaces have been created, separate psychological room was designed for the individual psychological works with beneficiaries.

As a result, the regional offices of the State Probation Service in Abovian and Ashtarak were thoroughly renovated, separate psychological room was created for the individual psychological work with the beneficiaries. 

The ceremony was attended by the First Counsellor of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Yerevan, Mr. Krzysztof Bartczak, General Director of CPO "Eurasia" Liana Yesayan, Head of the Department of Criminal Law, Penitentiary Policy Development and Probation of the Ministry of Justice of RA Mrs. Arpine Sargsyan, Head of the State Probation Service Gevorg Simonyan and others.

The project will contribute to the social reintegration of approximately 350 beneficiaries of the Probation Service annually, promoting the implementation of rehabilitation and training programs, and thus increasing the skills and abilities of beneficiaries and decreasing crime rates.
