Poland in Armenia

The consul is not entitled to provide legal advice or act as your advocate/lawyer or legal representative in the court.

In the Armenian legislation there is currently no equivalent to the institution of a Polish sworn translator. The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Armenia maintains a list of translators, including Polish, whose state authorization to translate materials has been confirmed (their services are also used by local notaries). Nevertheless, under Polish law the translations done by them are not considered to be sworn translations and cannot be used as such in Polish legal transactions.

 

Remember that you can use the consul's assistance if you need to translate certain documents from Polish to Armenian and vice versa. The Consular and Polish Diaspora Division of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Yerevan performs official translation services and also certifies translations.
