“The European Union needs a budget in the spirit of solidarity. We want Europe as a global player” - wrote Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an article published in Die Welt.

"It is not North that subsidizes East and South, but it earns money, and to be precise, everyone earns it. The thing is not that we create a Union of more or less transparent transfers, but that we strengthen the Union of effective transformation". (...) "In the long term, the role of the budget will be to set priorities for the Member States and for institutions without which the success of an ambitious and sustainable EU project will never come true" - wrote Prime Minister M. Morawiecki.
