Ambassador Marek Szczepanowski presented letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides

On 31 October 2023, the Ambassador Plenipotentiary and Extraordinary of the Republic of Poland to the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Marek Szczepanowski, presented his letters of credence to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Mr Nikos Christodoulides.
The ceremony took place at the Presidential Palace in Nicosia. In keeping with tradition, the ceremony was accompanied by a solemn protocol setting, including the playing of the national anthems of Poland and Cyprus by the Police Orchestra. The ceremony was followed by a meeting between the Ambassador and President Christodoulides, which took place in a very cordial and open atmosphere. During the conversation, the experience of bilateral relations to date and the possibilities for future cooperation were discussed. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Constantinos Kombos, also attended the meeting.
The Ambassador was accompanied by the Honorary Consul in the Republic of Cyprus, Leandros Papaphilippou, a delegation of staff from the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nicosia and family during the ceremony of presentation of credentials.
