Celebrations of the Polish Independence Day in Larnaka

On November 5, the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nicosia and the Municipality of Larnaka, organized an event on the occasion of the Polish Independence Day, attended by representatives of the Polish community and Cypriot guests.
Guests gathered in the Municipal Theatre in Larnaka listened to the piano recital by the Polish recognized pianist Wojciech Waleczek who performed the pieces of Fryderyk Chopin and the contemporary composer David Pentecost, as well as the arrangements of The Beatles’ greatest hits. Celebrations of the 104th anniversary of Poland regaining independence was also an opportunity to present the exhibition ”The History of the Polish National Anthem”.
