Poland in Cyprus

This year's celebrations took place at the largest Cypriot university - the University of Cyprus. Besides our embassy, the event was attended by language and cultural institutes (Institut Français, Goethe Institut, Istituto Dante Alighieri, Instituto Cervantes, British Council, Confucius Institute) and the EC Representation in Cyprus.

The aim of the event was to encourage young people to learn foreign languages, popularize knowledge about the different languages used in Europe and promote linguistic and cultural diversity. The celebration program included quizzes, language games and workshops.

The Polish stand was visited not only by students, but also by school children. Young people interested in learning our native language and studying in Poland could receive the necessary information and at the same time get to know the taste of Polish fudge.
