Launching of the Chopin 2020 celebrations in Cyprus.

On March 8th and 11th, the exhibition dedicated to the outstanding Polish composer and pianist Frederic Chopin was presented in Cyprus.
Both expositions were accompanied with the concerts of Baltic Trio - a group of lecturers from the Music Academy of Stanisław Moniuszko in Gdańsk composed of: Andrzej Wojciechowski - clarinet, Maciej Kułakowski - cello, Mirosława Sumlińska - piano. The Baltic Trio presented versatile repertoire including pieces of eminent composers: Ludwig van Beethoven, Mikhail Glinka and Fryderyk Chopin.
The official opening of the exhibition, which took place at the European University in Nicosia, was attended by representatives of Cypriot scientific and cultural institutions, members of the diplomatic corps and Polish diaspora in Cyprus.
The coverage from the concert was broadcasted in the evening news on the ANT1 television.
The exhibition was also presented at the Technopolis20 Cultural Center, which was the organizer of the concert of the Polish trio in Paphos.
The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Nicosia granted the patronage over the concerts of the Baltic Trio.
