The Embassy of the Republic of Poland, including the Consular Section, will be closed on 26.12.22 and 6.01.23

We kindly inform you that the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, including the Consular Section, will be closed on 1 November (Tuesday) and on 11 November (Friday) 2022.

World War II started on September 1, 1939. The Third Reich, unprovoked and without any notice, started their invasion of Poland. One of the first acts of war involved the gunfire oriented at Polish ammunition warehouse at Westerplatte. The “Schleswig-Holstein” battleship that had arrived in Gdansk with an allegedly peaceful visit opened fire at the Polish soldiers.

Freedom and equality of nations are the only defence against the threat of imperialism.

Great Polish pianist Szymon Nehring performed in Sorø at the Løvehave Koncerter festival on 21 August.

Romantic pieces by Józef Nowakowski, Mykola Leontowicz's 'Schedryk' as a tribute to Ukraine and contemporary compositions by Dane Poul Ruders were played by Warsaw String Ensemble during concerts on Zealand.

Raphael Roginski and his band Hizbut Jámm performed a concert at the Fanø Free Folk Festival on 22 July.
