Warsaw String Ensemble concerts

Romantic pieces by Józef Nowakowski, Mykola Leontowicz's 'Schedryk' as a tribute to Ukraine and contemporary compositions by Dane Poul Ruders were played by Warsaw String Ensemble during concerts on Zealand.
On 9 and 10 August, musicians from the Warsaw String Ensemble performed at two classical music festivals, at Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter and Sorø Internationale Musikfestival
Acclaimed Polish musicians joined their talents and created Warsaw String Ensemble. They play works by Polish classical and jazz composers.
The artists were honoured with the Polish-Danish Friendship Award by the organisers of the Rudersdal Sommerkoncerter.
The Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Copenhagen was a partner of both concerts, held as part of celebration of the Year of Polish Romanticism.
