Presentation on Polish history in Fredericia

The modern history of Poland from 1918 was the subject of presentation and discussions at the Rubicon historical club in Fredericia on 22 September.

A presentation for members of the club was delivered by Jarosław Galuba, III secretary at the Embassy of Republic of Poland in Copenhagen. In his speech, the diplomat presented the history of Poland starting from regaining independence, through the interwar period, World War II, the period of the People's Republic of Poland and ending with the  after Poland joined the European Union.

After the presentation, a Q&A session with club members took place. The discussion concerned the impact and significance of history on the current economic, social and political situation in Poland, as well as relations with neighboring countries and the European Union.
