Quarantine obligation lifted for cross-border business travelers

On 4 May 2020 the obligatory quarantine is being lifted for cross-border business travelers entering Poland from Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Sweden and Denmark.

As of Monday, 4 May 2020 every person travelling between Poland and Germany, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Sweden or Denmark for professional, business or education purpose will be exempted from the obligatory 14 days quarantine. This regulation does not apply does not apply to cross-border travelers in medical professions and those employed in social assistance centers.

Crossing the border for professional, business or education purposes in the Republic of Poland or a neighboring country should be documented to the Border Guard at border checks by presenting e.g. an employment contract and a document confirming place of residence in Poland.
