Screening of the film "KREDENS: live" with the participation of Ambassador Henryka Mościcka-Dendys

31.08.2020

On the last day of August in the Taksigelseskirken church in Copenhagen, a screening of the film “Kredens” ("Cupboard"), directed by Jacob Dammas, was organized. The screening was accompanied by live music performed by the accordionist Martin Bennebo and cellist Lisa Nyeng, and followed by a discussion with the participation of Ambassador Henryka Mościcka-Dendys.

Kredens Live

The film presents the story of a film director who returns to Wrocław, the city his parents left in 1968. There, he talks with the current tenants of their apartment and tries to find a heirloom - the cupboard. The screening of the film was the basis for a later discussion about the events of March 1968, in which the invited guests took part:

- Louise Sihm Knudsen, pastor at Taksigelseskirke, Lundehus and Hans Egedes Kirke in Copenhagen,

- Bent Melchior, former Chief Rabbi of Denmark, Chairman of the Brobyggerne,

- Henryka Mościcka-Dendys, Polish Ambassador to Denmark,

- Jacob Dammas, author of the "KREDENS: live" project, director and producer.

The project was created with the support of the Polish Embassy in Copenhagen.
