Veterans football match

On 28 August at the OKS FC Sydvest Tonder stadium in Odense, a match between Denmark and Poland was held. After a fierce duel, Polish veterans from the units of the General Command of the Armed Forces won 2-0.

This year's match was a continuation of the football game from 2019. Two years ago in Leszno the Polish team won 4:2.

Polish and Danish soldiers were supported by the Danish Minister of Defense, Trine Bramsen, and the military Attaché of the Embassy of the Republic of Poland, Colonel Andrzej Sypniewski, as well as numerous Polish diaspora and local residents.

The day before, on August 27, Polish soldiers visited the Slaglille cemetery to pay tribute to the pilots from the 138th RAF Squadron who died in combat on 17 September 1943.
