In the online discussion participated:
Piotr Arak, director of the Polish Economic Institute,
Caroline de la Porte, professor at Copenhagen Business School,
Stefano Sacchi from the Polytechnic University of Turin and
Dorota Szelewa from the University of Dubli.

The macroeconomic policy of the Member States and the entire EU after COVID-19 is of great interest to entrepreneurs, administration and researchers. The recovery fund is a completely new solution at the EU level, allowing for example common debt. According to the speakers, the EU's cooperation and economic governance will change after the pandemic. This creates challenges, but also new opportunities. As emphasized by P. Arak, Poland and Denmark with the forecasted GDP decline by -4.6% and -5.6% respectively, will be the economies hit the least by the crisis. Funds received as part of post-crisis EU activities will be allocated to energy efficiency projects, expansion of railway infrastructure, development of renewable energy sources, which include solar energy, wind energy, biogas and biomass.
