What is the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology?
The Ministry of Economic Development and Technology is an office of government administration providing services to the Minister of Economic Development and Technology
What we do
The areas of our activity are: economy, construction, spatial planning and development and housing.
The economy department covers the following matters:
- economy, including the competitiveness of the economy
- economic cooperation with foreign countries
- assessment of conformity, measures and testing
- industrial property
- innovation
- business
- promotion of the Polish economy in the country and abroad
- cooperation with economic self-government organizations.
The construction, spatial planning and housing department covers the following matters:
- architecture
- construction
- architectural and construction supervision
- spatial planning and development
- geodesy and cartography
- revitalization, subject to Art. 23a item 2 of the Act of September 4, 1997 on government administration departments
- support of housing
- real estate management, including real estate of the Treasury
- municipal infrastructure, except for defining the terms and conditions of collective water supply for human consumption and collective sewage disposal
- family allotment gardens
- spatial information infrastructure
Location
The headquarters of the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology is the building at pl. Trzech Krzyży 3/5 in Warsaw.
