Kamila Król is the new Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology

Today, upon request of the Minister of Economic Development and Technology, Waldemar Buda, Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appointed Kamila Król as the Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
At the Ministry, the new Deputy Minister will be in charge of the industrial and innovation policies as well as of European affairs.
Since 2020, Kamila Elżbieta Król has worked for the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology, at the Department of Digital Economy – Division of Digital Policy and Information. At the department, she was responsible for project and project product management, mainly in the field of coordinating the functioning of the Help Centre for Entrepreneurs (CPP), as well as for project management in the field of education and communication and the development of e-services and e-payments.
Previously, she worked at the Department of Supervised and Subordinate Units and in the Department of Social Dialogue and Social Partnership – Division of Crafts.
There, she was involved in organising and managing a support system for implementing projects concerning the development of crafts and regional services as well as projects related to the development of vocational education. She was in charge of handling the legislative process, monitoring the legal status and case-law as well as standards, recommendations, guidelines and opinions regarding crafts and the vocational education system. Her duties also included the implementation of tasks with regard to projects under the Digital Poland Operational Programme 2014-2020 co-financed by the European Union.
Since 2018, she has worked in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, in the Prime Minister’s Office. She was responsible for handling applications for granting financial resources from the general reserve of the state budget (inter alia, analysing and giving opinions on applications). She attended the meetings of the permanent Team for the consideration of offers of implementing public tasks.
She was in charge of substantive service for the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers and the Council of Ministers, as well as of expert service for the Minister-Member of the Council of Ministers, Chairperson of the Standing Committee of the Council of Ministers and the Management of the Chancellery of the Prime Minister as regards Poland’s membership in the EU, foreign affairs (including analysing and giving opinions on draft normative acts).
Kamila Elżbieta Król was born on 28 April 1992 in Warsaw. She is a graduate of the University of Warsaw, where in 2017 she obtained a Master’s degree in finance law and treasury. She holds a Bachelor’s degree with a specialisation in local government and regional policy (University of Warsaw, 2012-2015) and a Bachelor’s degree in European studies (University of Warsaw, 2011-2014).
