Krzysztof Kukucki appointed as deputy Minister of Economic Development and Technology

Upon the request of Minister Krzysztof Hetman, Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed Krzysztof Kukucki as the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology.
Krzysztof Kukucki graduated in political science at the Kazimierz Wielki University in Bydgoszcz, with a specialization in European Integration. He also completed EMBA (Executive Master of Business Administration) postgraduate studies at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń and postgraduate studies in social communication at the European School of Law and Administration in Warsaw.
A politician and local government official he served as the Head of the Development and Investment Department of Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyki Cieplnej (Municipal Heat Supply Company) in Włocławek from January 2008 to March 2015. From March 2015 to January 2019, he represented the President of the Management Board for integrated management in an international corporation producing packaging for the food and pharmaceutical industries.
From 2010 to 2019 he was a councillor of the Włocławek City Council, serving as its chairman from 2017 to 2018. From 2019 to 2023, Krzysztof Kukucki held the position of the first deputy mayor of Włocławek. In the City Council, among other projects, he completed housing schemes, including a pilot program for the construction of municipal houses for rent, which resulted in the creation of several hundred new premises handed over for use in the city.
In the elections to the Senate of the Republic of Poland held in October 2023, Krzysztof Kukucki was elected as a Member of the Senate for the 11th term.
