On request of the Minister of Economic Development and Technology Krzysztof Paszyk, Prime Minister Donald Tusk appointed Michał Jaros as the Secretary of State in the Ministry of Economic Development and Technology. 

Michał Jaros is an economist, local government leader and Member of Parliament.  In 2006, he graduated at the Wroclaw University of Economics and Business in Wroclaw. 

Councillor of the Wroclaw City Council in 2006-2007. He won a seat in the Parliament in the 2007 parliamentary elections. Member of Parliament in the Polish Sejm of the 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th and 10th term. In this term (10th), Deputy Chair of the Special Committee for anti-flood measures and elimination of 2024 flood effects and of the Economy and Development Committee. He is also the Member of the Public Finance Committee and Chair of the Lower-Silesian Parliamentary Group. Chair of the Lower Silesia Region of the Civic Platform of the Republic of Poland since 2021.
