PAIH provides office space for Ukrainian companies for free

01.03.2022

Russia's attack on Ukraine also translates into business, and in particular into small and medium-sized companies from across our eastern border. In the face of the war, the PAIH is organising support for companies from Ukraine and making office space available to them.

Since the beginning of March, small and medium-sized companies from Ukraine can conduct their business activity from the territory of Poland. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency offers free office space in a tenement house at 10 Bagatela St. in Warsaw.

It is very important to support Ukrainian entrepreneurs in keeping their businesses functioning. We believe that in this way we will help them limit the losses caused by Russian aggression against their country. A stronger Ukrainian business community will be one of the cornerstones of rebuilding the economy there,

- said Piotr Nowak, Minister of Economic Development and Technology.

The first Ukrainian companies will be able to use the office space "Coworking Ukraine" from Monday, 7 March. At the moment, the preparation of the space and the necessary facilities is underway. The programme is planned for three months with the possibility of extension, depending on the situation.

We understand how important it is to keep Ukrainian companies working despite the ongoing armed conflict. This will allow our neighbours' economy to rebuild after the crisis. That is why we have urgently launched a space that will enable them to function comfortably in Poland. As PAIH, we will support Ukrainian companies that ask us for help.

- says Krzysztof Drynda, President of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency.

Tenement house Bagatela 10 is located in Warsaw's Śródmieście district, in the neighbourhood of Łazienki Królewskie Park, surrounded by embassies, among others the Embassy of Ukraine and government institutions such as the Mazovian Voivodship Office. The vibrant area inspires and provides motivation for action, it is also a place for numerous business meetings. Within the framework of the support programme for entrepreneurs from Ukraine, PAIH provides free office space together with the necessary infrastructure.

Companies interested in the programme can apply via the form available on the Agency's website.

With a view to preserving the continuity of business of our Ukrainian friends, we are implementing a programme of support for the temporary relocation of businesses to Poland. Within the framework of the programme PAIH:

  • provides free co-working space in the centre of Warsaw;
  • introduces permanent support in the Ukrainian language;
  • maintains a database of immediately available logistical and production space;
  • provides all the information necessary to quickly start a business.

All interested parties will receive full, free support from our specialists in the following areas

  • finding the right real estate for your business (plots of land, halls, offices);
  • advice on possible public aid (grants, tax exemptions)
  • support in contacts with central and local administration;
  • information on conditions for doing business in Poland.
