500+ Helps to Organise Dream Holidays

Since the beginning of the “Family 500+” programme, i.e. since April 2016, over PLN 114.4 billion has been allocated to Polish families until the end of June this year. Currently, 6.5 billion children are covered by the support. The care allowance makes it possible for families to meet their needs, such as, for instance, summer holiday trips. – Due to the care allowance, we were able to spend the summer holidays by the sea together with our entire family - says Elżbieta Jarosz, a mother of three.

From the Baltic Sea up to the Tatra Mountains

- The support obtained under the programme allows us to go to the Baltic Sea as well as to the Mountains - says Katarzyna Kłeczek. The support under the programme allows families to plan their annual summertime holidays without infringing their other needs. Małgorzata Doszczeczko stresses that the “Family 500+” programme had a very positive impact on her family’s life. The support allows to organise mutual trips, allowing them to spend more time together. - The care benefit allows us to peacefully carry out our obligations towards our children. We have visited various cities and went to see the mountains, which involves travelling throughout the country, because we live by the sea - says Renata Walaszyk, a mother of five.

The parents jointly come to the conclusion that the support under the programme allowed them to carry out most of their summer plans.

Time Together with the Family

- The monthly inflow of money from the program allows us to systematically plan our expenses and to spend free time with our family, for instance on holidays which we could not afford before - says Katarzyna Zimnicka.

Ms Angelika Przespolewska also stresses that the additional funds allowed her to go on her first holidays with her daughter - we were finally able to do something together and fulfil our dreams of a trip.

Dreams at Hand

- Our children and us were always very passionate about horses. We always wanted to spend our holidays at a stud farm. The government programme “Family 500+” allowed us to meet that dream - says Magdalena Sionko-Waśko, a mother of three.

Ms Ilona Świętek stresses the importance of fulfilling the dreams of children, because seeing happiness in the eyes of the child is the greatest treasure, and the Family 500+ programme allows to fulfil all of their dreams.
