This solution is a response to postulates reported by the non-governmental sector. The aforementioned loans will make it easier for organisations, particularly those with smaller financial resources, to settle their liabilities. The solution will be available to around 64,000 non-governmental organisations and other entitled entities.

Who will receive this new type of support?

Forgivable loans will be available to non-governmental organisations and entities mentioned in Art. 3 par. 3 of the Act on Public Benefit Activity and Voluntary Work that conducted business activity before 1st April 2020 and whose revenue for the previous financial year did not exceed PLN 100,000.

Conditions of loan

A loan may be incurred to cover the expenses connected with the statutory and business activity of a non-governmental organisation or another entitled entity. The maximum amount of the loan is PLN 5,000; however, it must not exceed 10% of the revenue for the previous balance-sheet year. The repayment period is postponed by 3 months from the moment of granting the loan and amounts to 12 months. If the organisation continues to operate after three months, the loan will be cancelled as a whole. The loan interest will amount to 0.05 of the rate of rediscount of bills of exchange accepted by the National Bank of Poland.

A short loan application may be submitted to the county labour office relevant to the registered seat of the organisation.
