Compensation

A person against whom an employer infringed the principle of equal treatment in employment is entitled to compensation of no less than the minimum wage determined on the basis of separate provisions. From 1 July 2023, it is PLN 3 600.

The legislation only sets a floor for compensation, which means that the court cannot award less, but may award compensation higher than the minimum wage set for the calendar year.
