The Department of Dialogue and Social Partnership is responsible for:

1. drafting normative acts and other governmental strategic documents in the field of collective labour law and the psychological profession and conducting their legislative process;
2. analysing legislation in the field of collective labour law for compliance with European Union (EU) law, ILO conventions and recommendations and Council of Europe requirements, as well as evaluating the functioning of legal solutions applied in the field of collective labour law;
3. analysing system and strategic documents and other solutions in the context of the functioning of social dialogue and the possibility of its strengthening, including in terms of compliance with the acts and standards of the ILO, the Council of Europe, the United Nations and the EU law, as well as within the framework of international cooperation in this area, also in terms of EU programmes;
4. coordinating cooperation of the minister in charge of labour in the field of social dialogue with organisations of social partners, including coordination of the work of the government side in the Social Dialogue Council;
5. conducting matters related to the registration of post-company collective bargaining agreements, agreements on the application of the post-company collective bargaining agreement and additional protocols to these agreements and arrangements;
6. carrying out tasks related to appointing mediators for mediation proceedings by the minister competent for labour and considering applications of voivodship social dialogue councils for appointing a person to carry out goodwill missions;
7. carrying out design work for the promotion of social dialogue and its development in the legal and institutional sphere as well as support for its functioning, also through the preparation of publications on social dialogue and partnership, including running a website;
8. substantive coordination of cooperation with the ILO as well as undertaking and carrying out tasks related to technical cooperation with the ILO and promoting this organisation at the national level;
9. substantive cooperation with the Permanent Representation of the Republic of Poland to the United Nations Office at Geneva in matters concerning cooperation with the ILO;
10. conducting matters related to corporate social responsibility (CSR) policy within the scope of the labour department;
11. conducting matters related to the subordination to the Minister – Andrzej Bączkowski Centre for Social Partnership 'Dialog'.
