From today, parents may submit applications for 500+ for the new benefit period

From 1 February, parents and guardians may submit applications for 500+ for the new benefit period. Submitting the application by the end of April guarantees the continuity of payment of benefits. The support in the amount of PLN 500 is granted for each child under 18, regardless of family income.

I encourage all parents not to delay the submission of their application. The procedure itself takes place without leaving home, thanks to available online platforms. Submitting the application by 30 April ensures the continuity of payment of the benefit. On our part, we guarantee that the funds will go to families according to the payment dates. The Family 500+ programme will be implemented, and the funds for this purpose have been secured – says the Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg.

The application for the benefit may be submitted via the Electronic Services Platform, the Emp@tia.pl portal and electronic banking.

„For the United Right government, care for the family is an investment in a strong and modern Poland. The monthly benefit of PLN 500 per child has been granted to families for the seventh year in a row. So far, we have allocated nearly PLN 220 billion for this purpose, and nearly 7 million children have been supported” – adds Minister Marlena Maląg.

Parents who correctly complete and submit the application:

- by 30 April, will be paid the benefit by ZUS by 30 June 2023,

- in May 2023, will have their funds paid by 31 July, with compensation for June,

- in June 2023, will be paid the benefit by ZUS by the end of August, with compensation of amounts from June,

- in July 2023, will have their funds paid by 30 September, with compensation from July,

- in August 2023, will be paid the benefit by 31 October, with compensation from August.
