How to get the Quality Mark of Social and Solidarity Economy?

Once again, the fifth edition of the Quality Mark of Social and Solidarity Economy competition will allow to select the most outstanding entities of social and solidarity economy as well as local government units. The certificates awarded contribute to building the brand both of individual entities and of the entire social economy sector.

This year, for the fifth time the Minister of Family and Social Policy will award the prizes to entities which combine economic activity with social involvement, as well as to self-governments which actively support the creation and development of social economy entities. She will honour the entities which visibly contribute to strengthening the social economy sector and to the broadly understood local development, as well as to strengthening social cohesion and solidarity.

The competition has been organised since 2018 as part of a project implemented by the Department of Social and Solidarity Economy at the Ministry of Family and Social Policy, Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego and the European Meeting Centre – Nowy Staw Foundation, as part of the European Social Fund.

All social economy entities and local government units that would like to be among the best entities of the Social and Solidarity Economy are requested to apply by 20 April 2022, using the form placed on the competition website znakjakosci.mrips.gov.pl

In 2022, certificates and statuettes will be awarded to social economy entities
in four categories:

I. Debut of the Year;

II. Best Employer;

III. Market success;

IV. Social benefit loan.

On the other hand, local government units can apply for the prize in the category

V. Socially responsible self-government.

How to get the Quality Mark? Only 5 steps are enough.

  1. Visiting the www.znakjakosci.mrips.gov.pl website
  2. Getting familiar with the rules of the Competition Regulations.
  3. Selecting the competition category.
  4. Completing the competition form.
  5. Sending a request.

 

The winners of the competition will receive attractive prizes, i.e. advisory and training support packages, promotional videos, equipment related to pursuing business activity and participation in trade fairs. On the other hand, a certified entity may obtain advisory and training support packages and in-kind prizes. Support in completing the formalities related to the participation in the call for applications can be obtained calling the helpline number provided in the announcement posted on the competition’s website, as well as at the Social Economy Support Centres.
