Marshal Witek and Minister Maląg spoke about the Polish Paradise in Chocianów

On Monday the Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek together with the Minister of Family and Social Policy Marlena Maląg visited Lower Silesia. They met there with the inhabitants of Chocianów, and the topic of conversation was primarily the Polish Deal. It was also an opportunity to hand over a promise to the Federation of Universities of the Third Age to implement a project under the "Aktywni+" programme.
On Monday, a family picnic was held in Chocianów, Lower Silesia, attended by the Speaker of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek, and the Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg. It was an opportunity to meet with residents and talk about what is most important for families.
- The Polish Order comes here with help, it touches every area of life: agriculture and education, and family, and above all the broad support for municipalities and local governments across Poland," Marshal of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek stressed during the press briefing.
As the Speaker added, the government's aim is for Poles to live on the same level as in Western European countries. The Polish governance is to contribute to this.
We have noticed Polish families
Family Minister Marlena Maląg, in turn, stressed that the Polish state must be based on strong families.
- In 2015, Polish families were noticed. Since then we have been implementing social programmes. The Polish Order is another social, economic solution. At its centre is the family," Minister Maląg said on Monday.
The head of the Ministry of Labour and Social Policy pointed out that care places for the youngest children are constantly being developed, and the Polish Order will intensify these activities.
- The budget for creating places in crèches, children's clubs will increase threefold, she pointed out.
The Minister also recalled that public consultations are underway on a draft law on Family Welfare Capital - one of the pillars of the Polish Deal.
Active senior citizens on the rise!
On the same day, Minister Marlena Maląg met with the Lower Silesian senior citizens' community. The topic of the meeting was mainly the solutions of the Polish Order addressed to the elderly. These include a tax-free pension up to PLN 2.5 thousand and zero PIT for people working after reaching the age of seniority.
It was also an opportunity to hand over a promise to the Federation of Universities of the Third Age to implement the project "Dolnośląski e-senior" as part of the "Aktywni+" programme.
