Minister Maląg also points out to the fact, that despite the tremendous work in ensuring adequate protection for their employees during the pandemic, the Ministry still continues to receive reports that the basic safety rules are not adhered to in some workplaces. – National Labour Inspectorate is now conducting intensified and detailed inspections in companies in that area. The inspections involve primarily the provision of adequate and safe working conditions for the employees, the implementation of measures limiting the spread of the virus, as well as the execution of occupational health and safety trainings - informs the Minister.

Minister Maląg stresses that the companies are obliged to provide their employees with conditions allowing to carry out their task in a safe manner which does not pose a hazard to their health. - The health and the life of employees is our priority. The hazard still exists. That is why we should prepare for the second wave of confirmed cases - she adds.

In addition, she reminds about the requirement to adhere to the basic safety principles in enterprises, i.e. apply mouth and nose protection, provide disinfectants for hands and surfaces, ensuring safe distance between the employees.
