„Mothers cry out: stop shooting at children” – under this slogan, a march against the Russian aggression in Ukraine was held on Saturday in Warsaw. The event was attended by, inter alia, Marshal of the Sejm, Elżbieta Witek, Prime Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, Minister of Family and Social Policy, Marlena Maląg, as well as the Members of the Parliament, members of „Gazeta Polska” clubs and residents of the capital.

„The hostilities carried out in the territory of Ukraine continue, and the bestiality of Russia is getting stronger every day. Today, we must speak with one voice, loud and clear – who is the aggressor, we must clearly oppose the crimes committed against the Ukrainian people, women, children. Let us show our Ukrainian brothers and sisters that we are with them, that we support them with all our strength and we absolutely do not agree to any terror on the part of Russia – said the Minister of Family, Marlena Maląg before the march.

The march organised by the „Gazeta Polska” clubs moved in Warsaw from Trzech Krzyży Square to the Russian embassy. The participants protested against the crimes committed against Ukrainian women and children by the Russian invaders.

- „When we help Ukrainians, we fight for the Polish independence. When we try, by all means and methods, to support Ukrainians in their fight with all our strength, we also fight for the Polish sovereignty and independence – said Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki in an interview with the media.

– “I came here not as the Marshal of the Polish Sejm, but as a woman, a Pole, a mother and a grandmother” – said Marshal Elżbieta Witek to people gathered in front of the Ukrainian Embassy building. - „Fighting Ukraine must know that it is not alone, that we are with it and we believe that it will win – she assured.

Also, the Ambassador of Ukraine to Poland, Andrii Deshchytsia, spoke to the people gathered. – „We are very grateful to the Polish people for such strong support for Ukraine – he said. He assured that the situation in Ukraine is under control of the president and the government, but his country needs support. – Russia continues to attack the Ukrainian cities – killing civilians, killing children, destroying buildings – including maternity hospitals and hospitals – said the diplomat.

The march organised by the „Gazeta Polska” clubs ended in front of the Russian embassy building.
